Pacifica Ca. - Dec 19, 2009 Pacifica, Ca. The Pacifica Islanders
players, staff and their families donated their time this Saturday
to help the Pacifica Historical Society. The task at hand was to
help restore one of Pacifica's oldest buildings, The Little Brown
Church. Once completed it will become Pacifica's official historical
museum.
The
team spent the day removing the old plaster & lathe from the walls
and loading it into dumpsters. The volunteers enjoyed refreshments
provided by the historical society for breaks and lunch provided by
L&L Barbeque of Pacifica. The Islanders would like to thank the
historical society for the opportunity to give back to our community
and for their hospitality.
